Kerala is literally bursting with unique, awe inspiring sights and activities – there really is something for everyone. So, where is it, how easy is it to get there, and when should you go? Read on to find out…
Where is Kerala?
Kerala stretches along the tropical coastline of Western India. Known as India’s most beautiful state, it is a slender coastal strip with a uniquely undulating landscape.
How to get there?
There are no direct flights to Kerala from the UK, so the best way to get here is via Dubai. This is very straightforward, and there are plenty of flight options. We recommend factoring in a day or two to explore Dubai either on your way or return.
Getting around once you arrive?
As part of your package, Kerala Moments will arrange a private personal driver with luxury transport, who will stay with you throughout your entire stay. Our customers find this service invaluable, allowing you to relax and make the most of every day of your holiday, worry free!
When to go?
Kerala is perfectly placed to enjoy a tropical climate with temperatures averaging between 24 and 33 degrees celsius.
- The high season is between mid-November and May when the average number of sunshine hours reaches its peak making this tropical paradise the perfect winter holiday destination.
- Between March and the end of May the weather is typically warm and very pleasant. This is also a great time to spot wildlife in the national parks, when animals will spend most of their time cooling off in the water!
- Good periods of sunshine can still be enjoyed between June and July whilst experiencing the highly atmospheric Monsoon season.
